All classes are online this semester
Due to the pandemic, FLIEC is conducting all after-school Chinese language classes on-line. Here is the information you need to enroll your child:
- When: All classes start on January 11, 2021 and end on May 14, 2021. If you enroll after Jan. 11th your tuition will be prorated accordingly.
- How: Classes are taught via Zoom, a free platform you can join with an internet link sent by the teacher. The students will need to use a computer, laptop or tablet to access the internet classroom platform Zoom. Access to headphones will be desirable in order for the student to better concentrate on the class. Teachers will also use Quizlets to assign homework or fun review exercises for students. Quizlet is also free of charge and accessible via a link the teacher sends.
- Tuition and Scholarships: Tuition for the Spring semester is $320 IMPORTANT: FLIEC gives a tuition waiver to children who receive free or reduced meals at school. In order to apply for the tuition waiver, please send us a copy of the official note that your family received from the school in which you were notified that your child qualified for free or reduced meals (send it to languages.fliec@gmail.com).
